05/25/11

~100 quads, trucks were at the St Helen event last weekend.  Guess attendance was down from last year but everyone made the most of it and had a ball.
~Don't forget that the Pink Store in Mio will still have gas for $3.79 a gallon.  They are going to have food for the riders and anyone else that stops in.
~http://dirtpackers.com/calendar.php is the site to check out for the  St Helen Jamboree August 12-14, 2011.
~Remember it is a State Law that you MUST have a headlight and taillight on all ORV vehicles if you are on the roads at ALL times, according to Ogemaw County Ordinance.  You do not need them on the trails but for your safety I would suggest you ride with them on at all times.
~ I guess the trails over in South Branch are looking really good this year.  They are making them wider so you should be able to enjoy a comfortable ride.

Everyone take care on the trails, have fun, buddy up, (never ride alone), remember your lights and we will see you on the trails!!

READY FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND????

Well we are getting everything in order and cranking up the jeeps, quads and bikes!

First of all I want to remind everyone there is an ORV Patrolers meeting on the 25th of May at the Klacking Township Hall. Postcards should be out in the mail.

I want to give a shoutout to the "Pink Store" on M33 north of Rose City Michigan. They have new management there and are trying alot of new things..... First of all they are going to open at 7am and the closing hours will be flexable. They want everyone to know that for Memorial Weekend they are keeping their gas prices at $3.99 per gallon. They are also offering a doughnut and small coffee for under a buck. They will be offering salads and subs too. Sounds like they are waiting for everyone to come out and ride and trying to keep things affordable to all who want to venture "up north" for the weekend. Give them a shout when you are up!

As always we will be seeing you out on the trails!!!
